Volunteer Opportunities

Tutor: Help an adult in your community increase his or her literacy skills. Four hours a week; a one-year commitment.
HLP Helper: Help with short-term activities such as Recognition Night, Family Literacy Nights, and bulk mailings. Amount of time is up to you.
Committee Member: Joint a standing or temporary committee and provide input and guidance to HLP. A year long commitment.
Board of Directors Member: Help determine the future direction of HLP on a working board. Terms are three years; monthly meetings, a real commitment.
